Istat Veneto (via the Regione del Veneto ROSS1000 platform) is a public-sector integration used by accommodation providers in Veneto, Italy to submit mandatory tourism flow (ISTAT) reporting and communicate opening/temporary closure periods of hospitality properties. The platform acts as the official channel between private operators and regional/public authorities for statistical and regulatory reporting.

For PMS and software vendors, ROSS1000 supports data transmission via file upload using a defined record layout ("tracciato record") and via Web Service (with dedicated technical notes). Once guest data is recorded, the system can generate a file that the property can upload to the Italian police portal (Alloggiati Web) to fulfill guest registration obligations, reducing manual re-entry and helping operators stay compliant.
