Istat Umbria Turismatica ("Turismatica") is the Regione Umbria web platform provided free of charge to accommodation providers and short-term rentals operating in Umbria to submit mandatory daily tourism statistics. It enables properties to transmit guest arrivals and departures data in order to comply with official regional and national statistical reporting obligations, aligned with EU tourism statistics requirements (Regulation (EU) No 692/2011) and the Italian National Statistical Program.

Access is handled via SPID (Italy’s public digital identity system), with a dedicated accreditation flow for foreign owners residing abroad. Property owners can also delegate operational access to staff or third parties through an official delegation form submitted to the regional support email. The platform functions primarily as a compliance/reporting portal rather than a commercial PMS, helping properties keep reporting accurate, timely, and privacy-compliant.
