Istat Sicilia (via the Osservatorio Turistico Regione Siciliana – OTRS “Gestione Flussi Turistici” portal) is the regional platform used by accommodation providers in Sicily to report tourist movement data (arrivals, presences, stays) and support compliance workflows. The system centralizes validated tourism data in a single database and enables properties to manage required reporting through a web-based interface.

For properties using a PMS, OTRS supports HTTPS-based API calls for transmitting stay data. The portal also supports operational compliance tasks such as producing the daily file for Public Security requirements and facilitating the workflow to generate the file to be sent to the Italian Police portal (AlloggiatiWeb). The platform is positioned as a free, web-based service that helps properties and stakeholders access up-to-date, validated tourism data while reducing manual reporting effort.
